Lead Digital Press Operator

Can you leap tall buildings, are you faster than a speeding bullet! Heritage is looking for a lead digital press operator. Advancement has created an opportunity for someone in our digital press department. Individual must be capable of running several state of the art digital presses as well as make decisions on the workflow to ensure we are meeting customer timelines. Pre-Press understanding of Adobe Suites extremely helpful.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily production activities and maintain quality output on Konica Digital Color presses in a fast-paced environment
• Strong eye for detail when evaluating color and quality, and use problem solving skills to troubleshoot and address quality concerns
• Use organizational skills to maintain print queues and to match printed work with job tickets
• Able to multi task well, remain organized, and handle many projects at one time
• Utilize scheduling software for production and print operations; learn new software as needed
• Follow job schedule to insure jobs are running on schedule and delivered in accordance with expectations
• Troubleshoot job or machine for errors

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be reliable, willing, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Experience with Digital Printers required
• Must be able to accommodate changes in schedule and shifts to meet production requirements
• Attention to detail is a must
